HAT-MASH2016 Call For Paper
Healthy Aging Tech mashup service, data and people
Keio University, Yokohama-city, Kanagawa, November 14-16, 2016
as part of JSAI-isAI 2016

HAT-MASH 2016 (Healthy Aging Tech mashup service, data and people) is the 2nd
international workshop that bridges healthy aging and elderly care technology,
information technology and service engineering.

Invited speakers:
– Dr. Mihoko Otake (Associate Professor, Ph.D, Chiba University)
Aim and scope:
Aging of the population causes not only a substantial increase of GDP spent on elderly
care per year but also societal effects, which impact not only the health sector.
Meanwhile to develop a sustainable social system, we have to take into account
demographic change, changes in the global economy and the development of
technologies and therefore a transdisciplinary approach is a must.

The main objective of this workshop is to provide an informal forum to discuss
important research questions and practical challenges in healthy aging and elderly care
support to promote transdisciplinary approaches. The workshop welcomes researchers,
academicians as well as industrial professionals of different but relevant fields from all
over the world to present their research results and development activities. The
workshop will provide opportunities for the participants to exchange new ideas and
experiences face to face, to establish research or business networks and to find global
partners for future collaboration.

Camera-ready due: October 31, 2016

HAT-MASH2016 workshop accepts extended abstracts and poster presentations written
in English only. The abstracts and posters will be distributed in the workshop sites only
and are not considered to be formal publications. The extended abstract should be
within 2 pages for positioning paper, 4 pages for short paper and 8 pages for long paper.
Poster submission should have a title and 400 words abstract.

Post Proceedings
Selected papers are planned to be published as a post proceedings of Springer LNAI.
We are under negotiation with Springer Verlag for publication of Post Proceedings as
the previous arrangements.
